When I was 13(!) I made time for this show every week. Three regular people hunting down dangerous cursed objects, armed with nothing but knowledge and scrappiness. Tracking down dangerous artifacts and pacifying them in their antique shop.
I’m not saying The Case of the Two-Faced Statue wouldn’t exist without this show, but it’s a pretty obvious influence on the book’s premise!
